Joe Wilson 🇺🇸

Joe Wilson is a skilled commercial filmmaker and photographer with over two decades of experience in the news business, advertising, and media. He graduated with a degree in Philosophy & Journalism from Cleveland State University and started his career as a news correspondent with Plain Dealer Publishing Co. and Gannett. He went on to work as a reporter, section editor, and news editor in multiple news organizations, including Daily Journal of Commerce, Stayton Mail newspaper, and Gannett.

After a successful career in the news industry, Joe transitioned into the commercial photography business and founded JOE WILSON photographer LLC. Over time, Joe realized his clients needed video work in addition to still photography, and his wife, Becky Bergman, facilitated the transition to Bergman Productions. Becky owns and manages the business, while Joe handles production work.

Joe's skills and creativity are unmatched, and he is comfortable working with a wide range of clients, from brands and corporations to non-profits and individuals. He is known for his resourceful approach to image-making, whether in the studio or on location, and his quick sense of humor is essential in putting even the most camera-shy person at ease.

Joe's work spans from complex lighting constructs to natural light, resulting in powerful images that communicate ideas in a memorable way. He has a passion for character and story-driven imagery, and his versatility enables him to provide incredible images without relying on a single stylized look.
