Joe Voelcker is a seasoned Global Recruitment Leader who has spent his career building, developing and leading global in-house and RPO teams. He has led 100+ in-house recruiters, 200+ RPO recruiters, and has handled over 25,000+ requisitions, making more than 18,000 annual hires across 70+ markets. He brings with him a wealth of experience in early talent, executive recruitment, and experienced hires, making him a valuable asset in the world of HR, corporate talent acquisition, and recruitment.

Voelcker is particularly passionate about driving innovation and progressive change across recruitment and talent management, as well as increasing diversity and inclusion to deliver better outcomes for the business while improving the candidate and hiring manager experience. He is a values-focused, inclusive leader, and people developer, blending his HR generalist, talent management, and recruitment expertise. His strong cultural agility is attributed to having lived and worked in the UK, US, and Japan.

Voelcker holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Southampton and studied at the University of West London. He began his career as an educator before transitioning into HR, starting as a Recruitment Consultant at JAC Recruitment Group before moving on to AT&T as a Recruitment and Development Manager. Eventually, he joined GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), holding various leadership positions such as Global Talent Acquisition Lead, Global Head of Early Talent Acquisition, Director of Talent Management & Strategic Resourcing, and others.
