Joe Rice

Joe Rice is an accomplished customer-focused executive and business owner with a strong background in IT, communications, and networking infrastructure.

In 2021, Joe founded CXponent after a sabbatical to prioritize family time.

From 2014 to July 2020, Joe served as the Co-Founder and COO/CFO of Acliviti, a professional services firm specializing in advising enterprise leaders on legacy Contact Center, Phone System, and Networking Infrastructure transformations.

At Acliviti, Joe played a pivotal role in leading customer teams, overseeing procurement and negotiation of $1B in IT investments, and implementing over $100M in new SaaS, Infrastructure, and Managed Services.

He also provided strategic guidance to top vendors in their Transformation Delivery and Managed Services initiatives.

Under Joe's leadership, Acliviti achieved significant industry recognition, including ranking on the Inc 5000 list in 2018 (#695) and 2019 (#1,781).

Prior to Acliviti, Joe gained experience at AVANT Communications, AT&T, and CenturyLink (now Lumen), working with high-growth start-ups and leading Enterprise IT Delivery vendors.

Joe is an alumnus of the University of Illinois, and he enjoys outdoor activities, sports, music, cooking, traveling, and personal development challenges.
