Joe Fornear is the Executive Director and Founder of Stronghold Ministry, a non-profit organization that provides spiritual support to cancer patients and individuals in crisis.24 He is a Stage IV metastatic melanoma cancer survivor who was given "days to live" in May 2003 when cancer had spread throughout his body.13 After overcoming his battle with cancer, Fornear transitioned from his role as a pastor to establish Stronghold Ministry.
