Joe Fornear

Joe Fornear is a resilient individual who defied the odds after being diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic melanoma in 2003, where he was given just days to live, to become an inspiration and source of support for cancer patients.

After his own battle with cancer, Joe transitioned from pastoring to founding Stronghold Ministry, a non-profit cancer and support ministry dedicated to helping individuals navigate the challenges of the disease.

Together with his wife, Terri Fornear, Joe provides spiritual support and assistance to those facing similar health battles, drawing from their personal experiences as advanced cancer survivors.

Joe Fornear's educational background includes a Master of Theology with a focus on New Testament Greek from Dallas Theological Seminary, as well as a BA in Communication from Pennsylvania State University-Erie Campus.

Having served in various capacities, Joe has a diverse professional history that includes being the former Executive Director of Stronghold Ministry, a Pastor at A Fellowship Bible Church in Dallas, and a General Contractor at Fornear Construction.
