Jody Thomas

Jody Thomas is an accomplished executive with a proven track record in Unified Communications and commercial AV, focusing on strategic alliances, product & channel development, go-to-market strategy, and operational process.

With over three decades of active involvement in the professional AV industry since 1989, Jody has dedicated his time to AVIXA, a prominent industry trade association, where he has held positions such as Board of Governors member and adjunct faculty member, contributing as a speaker, instructor, and facilitator in educational programs.

Jody Thomas studied Business Management at the University Of North Carolina At Greensboro and has held various key roles in renowned organizations like TargetPath LLC, Maverick AV Solutions, Biamp Systems, Da-Lite Screen Company, Kramer Electronics LTD, Visual Solutions Distributing, ADTI Media, Emergent Communications Technology, DVIGear, Kayye Consulting, Inc., NEC, and A&V Company.

He has also chaired the Information Technology Council and participated in AVIXA's Professional Education and Training Committee, actively involved in curriculum development for AVIXA's Installation School and AV/IT certification initiative. Additionally, Jody has shared his expertise as an instructor at notable industry trade shows such as NSCA and CEDIA.
