Joao Cardoso De Jesus

Joao De Jesus boasts an impressive educational background with qualifications obtained from various renowned institutions. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Nova School of Business and Economics, then went on to study Alternative Investments at CAIA, Private Equity Program & Hedge Funds Program at London Business School, Investment Strategies and Portfolio Management at Wharton Business School, and Management at Solvay Business School. With a wealth of experience in the investment sector, Joao is the Co-founder & CEO of Lovys, a technology company that specializes in insurance. He's also a former mentor at Techstars and the Co-founder & CEO of VisionX, which was part of 500 Startups Batch 18.

Before founding Lovys, he held various roles in companies such as Park Capital, Forum Partners, and Morgan Stanley, where he was Associate, Global Structured Products and an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions department. He also worked as a Summer Intern at The Boston Consulting Group. Joao's diverse experience has enabled him to gain in-depth knowledge of tools, methodologies and strategies related to investment, private equity, and hedge funds. He has also been able to develop his leadership skills, making him an expert in building and managing successful teams.
