Joan Lavis

Joan Lavis is a highly experienced executive with extensive expertise in finance and operational management. Having worked for both large corporations such as UBS and GE Capital, and smaller businesses such as Cumberland River Holdings, Lavis has developed a comprehensive range of skills that have enabled her to build and lead successful teams across various industries. As the Chief Operating Officer of Cumberland River Holdings, Lavis uses her ability to establish and effectively communicate a clear business strategy to engage and motivate all stakeholders towards achieving corporate objectives. Her academic achievements include an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Rochester's Simon Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business/Management from the State University of New York College at Oneonta. In addition, she has attained a Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification.
