Jitendra Morankar

Jitendra Morankar is the Vice President Global Design Applications at NEXTracker, a Flex Company in Fremont, California. Based in Hyderabad, India, he leads teams in solar tracker design, engineering, R&D, and Energy Storage.

Previously, he served as the VP Solar Design & Engineering at Suzlon Energy Ltd, specializing in utility-scale renewable energy projects. His expertise lies in PV Plant Performance and optimizing Solar PV Plant Designs, with over 14 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer.

Passionate about emerging renewable energy technologies, Jitendra has contributed to over 440 MW of solar PV installations in the US and Canada, aiming to bring such technologies to large-scale commercial operations.

He holds an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo and an MBA in Finance from Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He has also acquired professional certificates in Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies from Stanford University.

Throughout his career, Jitendra Morankar has held key roles at reputed organizations such as NEXTracker, Suzlon Group, Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc., GE Energy, and Cummins, Inc, marking a diverse and accomplished professional journey.
