Jiri Maly

Dr. Jiri Maly is a highly accomplished cardiac surgeon and academic professional based in Prague, Czech Republic. Graduating from the 1st Medical School of Charles University in 1997, he went on to complete his vascular and cardiovascular surgery residency at the Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine in 2006. In 2009, he earned his Ph.D. in Biomedicine, Human Physiology, and Pathophysiology. Dr. Maly currently serves as the Surgical Director of the Operating Theaters Department of Cardiovascular and Transplant Surgery in Prague, with the additional prestigious title of Professor of Cardiac Surgery at the 2nd Medical School in Prague. In 2019, he was appointed as the Deputy Director at IKEM, Prague. Dr. Maly is a prolific author with over 53 peer-reviewed scientific articles in PubMed WoS SCI citation index, boasting an H-index of 12.
