Jim Mason

Jim Mason is a seasoned management consultant at Deloitte with over 20 years of experience in driving business transformation and enhancing performance in various areas such as business unit and corporate strategy, strategic risk management, supply chain strategy, sourcing, logistics, and operations improvement.

Before his tenure at Deloitte, Jim served as a Special Operations / Explosive Ordnance Disposal officer with the US Navy, accumulating ten years of active duty followed by seventeen years of reserve service. Currently, he holds the position of Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officer (EPLO) for the state of Texas, overseeing Defense Support of Civil Activities (DSCA) efforts.

Jim is well-versed in implementing strategic risk management practices within technology firms and has conducted numerous rapid assessments focused on business models and operational enhancements across industries like high-tech, semiconductor, telecommunications, aerospace and defense, and recreational marine. Furthermore, he has substantial experience in guiding cross-functional teams to tackle complex business challenges.

He obtained his Master of Business Administration from Duke University's The Fuqua School of Business and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy.
