Jim Gramberg

Jim Gramberg is a retired solar energy professional who previously served as the CEO and Chairman of Solar Partners Asia Cambodia Ltd. He has expertise in rural electrification, risk mitigation for green projects, and renewable energy investments.14 Gramberg studied at the University of Utrecht and has been involved in the solar energy sector in Cambodia.4

As of February 2025, Gramberg is no longer actively working at Solar Partners Asia Cambodia Ltd., having retired in 2018.35 His current role is listed as part of an "RE Investor Consortium," suggesting he may still be involved in renewable energy investments.4

Throughout his career, Gramberg has been focused on solar energy solutions, particularly in the context of Cambodia. Solar Partners Asia Cambodia Ltd., under his leadership, was known as a sole solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractor, system designer, and distributor with a nationwide presence in Cambodia.2

For instance, in January 2024, he shared news about Microsoft's plans related to renewable energy5, indicating his continued interest and engagement in the field despite his retirement.
