Jill Nelson

Jill Nelson is an accomplished business leader and the Executive Partner at Elevate Capital Fund, a position she has held since February 2020. In addition to her role at Elevate, she is also the Founder and a member of the Board of Directors for Ruby Receptionists, a company she led as CEO from June 2003 until August 2019. Under her leadership, Ruby Receptionists grew significantly and was recognized as one of the best small companies to work for in the U.S. by FORTUNE Magazine in 2012.1

Education and Early Career

Nelson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Oregon, where she studied from 1983 to 1988. Early in her career, she worked as a business broker at IBA and held a sales position at Businessland.1
