Jessica Bedau

Jessica Bedau is a highly skilled and experienced financial professional with a strong background in accounting and finance. She holds a BA with a dual major in Accounting and BCIS from Midwestern State University. Jessica's expertise lies in the implementation and maintenance of core financial systems, where she acts as the main point of contact between finance/accounting, data quality & governance, and IT departments.

In her role as Financial Systems Manager at State Auto Insurance, Jessica is responsible for establishing governance processes related to system use and changes in business processes within accounting/finance. She collaborates closely with accounting/finance management to optimize business processes and ensure efficient utilization of core financial systems and automation activities. Her skills include proficiency in Workday, PAM for Securities, Crystal Reports, data analysis, and a strong analytical capability.

Prior to her current position, Jessica held various roles at State Auto Insurance, ranging from Finance Project Lead to Financial Accountant IV. She also gained experience as a Staff Accountant at Beacon National Insurance Company and an Accounts Receivable Clerk at Patterson Auto Group.
