Jesse Carrillo is a dedicated professional with a passion for serving his community and advocating for educational equity. As a first-generation college graduate, Jesse's journey is driven by the responsibility to share knowledge and resources to make paths easier for others. Starting his career as a teacher in Houston, he later transitioned into roles focusing on college access and success at organizations like YES Prep. Currently, Jesse serves as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at EMERGE, where he continues his mission of empowering students. Aside from his work in education, Jesse is deeply invested in personal finance and has been working to educate others, particularly Texas educators, on financial literacy. He has also recently ventured into the real estate industry with an Airbnb in Galveston.
