Equalture’s data-driven hiring tool enables companies to hire the best-fit people by collecting unbiased data on both their teams and candidates to base their hiring decisions on.

As Equalture's Head of CS I'm responsible for our team of CSMs. I support them in the process of onboarding, training, upselling and expanding our product for all types of companies, ranging from SMBs to our national Police, Ministries and global enterprises like Vodafone, KLM, Ahold Delhaize, and many more.

Our product has a major impact within companies, as it means a shift away from traditional recruitment to a contemporary workflow that includes gamification of the application process. It's not merely implementing a piece of software; It's important to align internal and external stakeholders to ensure success, which results in a more objective, fair and unbiased opportunity from people from any background. I'm used to dealing with people on any level within any company, from operational to C-level.

Development of internal strategies to make CS more successful is an important part of my day-to-day work. Translating customer feedback into tangible insights for all departments (Product, Marketing, Sales, Science) is at the core of ensuring optimal growth of the business.

Managing teams is something I love, as my background in Psychology and being passionate about interpersonal relations means that I'm able to let everyone grow, both on professional as well as personal levels.

I also regularly give training sessions to teams (between 1 and 200 people) on platform usage, DE&I in hiring, and unconscious biases.

The CSM partners with Account Directors and Sales Planners and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful campaign development and define focus clients to meet and exceed revenue targets. Focus on driving account retention. Ability to transform big data into valuable and actionable insights. Working with CRM and Order Management Systems; Salesforce, DFP. Other: Nielsen, TGI, GWI, InterQuest, TNS & eMarketer.

My role:

My job as Customer Advocate for both Media Injection (MI) and The Next Ad (TNA) is to make sure that your experience with our platforms is optimal. I guarantee that your questions will be answered quickly as well as proactively tell you how to boost your social results.

During my work for Effective and a lot of large companies that worked with Effective (e.g. Becel, John West, Skechers, Mizuno, Storck) I've managed to develop a whole variety of valuable skills. I've been promoted from team member during my first fair (Huishoudbeurs 2014) to teamcaptain/supervisor at the next one (Libelle Zomerweek 2014) and kept on being supervisor during some of the largest fairs known in the Netherlands (e.g. de Huishoudbeurs, Margriet Winterfair, 50+-beurs, Amsterdam Marathon). 

I've been developing my presentation skills by giving product demonstrations to the hundreds of thousands of fair visitors all the while developing other valuable skills like sales, giving lead to teams (4-25 members) and taking care of the customer's preferences (the brands I was working for and the fair visitors are both customers with their own preferences and demands).

Performance Psychologist / Sport Psychologist

Both sport psychology and performance psychology focus on two questions: how do you make sure that people perform at their absolute best at the right time? And how can you help people to make sure they will live up to their ambitions? Researching psychological literature and brainstorming about translating this knowledge into practicle applications (e.g. as a coach, trainer or consultant) are key components.

Possible questions that can be answered with sport & performance psychology knowledge are: 
•	Why do some people perform better under pressure and other people perform worse under            pressure?
•	How can a singer make sure that he controls his nervousness?
•	How to help someone who wants to become the world’s best football player?
•	How can an advertising company boost its creativity?
•	Why is Guus Hiddink such a successful coach?

Taken into account are individual factors like self-esteem, concentration, performance pressure, motivation and the fear of failure. On the other hand social elements like group processes, team performance, leadership, coaching and the role of media and audiences are being studied. 

The mastertrack ‘Sport- and Performance Psychology’  trains students to become scientist-practitioner in sport and performance psychology. Motivation is a major factor in being able to perform at the highest level. This means that a sport and performance psychologist is up to date on any scientific developments and is able to translate this into practical applications. A comprehensive knowledge on both classical and more recent motivational theories and the empirical evidence and applicability those theories encompass are also important for sport and performance psychologists.

As a co-founder of Smooth-ease, I've not only been able to diversify the available streetfoods Groningen had to offer but also made sure that there was a healthy, nutritious option when it came to buying on-the-go food. We offered handmade, on-the-spot blended smoothies made of fresh yoghurt and fresh fruits. 

In addition to the weekly food market in Groningen, we have also served smoothies at different organisations and company parties.

During my work with Smooth-ease, I've been able to further develop my sales skills, my customer relations and my use of social media to boost our brand and our products. I've also learned a lot from building up a small company from scratch with a friend, which is always a big but interesting step to take; especially when you are only 22 years old. Looking back I am proud of what Smooth-ease did become and I am thankful for the experience I built up while working with my dear colleague Simon.
