Jennifer Kim is a startup advisor, entrepreneur, and expert in People & Talent functions. She has dedicated her career to help startups approach People Ops as a critical business function, and to make meaningful work possible for people through education and entrepreneurship. Jennifer has a background in Political Science and Communications, with a minor in Writing from the University of California, Davis. Before becoming an entrepreneur, she worked as a Recruiting/ HR Lead at StudentsFirst and Career Management Center – MBA Advising & Programs at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. She then joined the startup Lever, where she served as Head of People, and contributed to making it a great place to work for employees. Jennifer founded the Startup Recruiting Bootcamp to help startups get ahead of their recruitment and people operation needs, and she also supported Self as a startup advisor. Jennifer is known for her high-impact mentorship and coaching, and for being deeply invested in identifying and supporting high-potential talent.
