Jennifer Kaufmann-Buhler
Assistant Professor of Design History at Purdue University
Jennifer Kaufmann-Buhler is a seasoned professional in the field of Design History with a rich academic background and extensive experience in academia and the design industry.
She earned her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Design Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master of Arts (M.A.) in History of Design from the Royal College of Art, and a Bachelor's degree in American Culture from Vassar College.
Jennifer currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Design History at Purdue University, where she imparts her knowledge and expertise to students. Previously, she held a similar position at the Columbus College of Art & Design.
In addition to her academic roles, Jennifer has also showcased her administrative skills as the Associate Director of Academic Services in the L&S Honors Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and as a Showroom Manager at Knoll.
Her varied background in academia and the industry provides Jennifer with a unique perspective and a wealth of insights that she brings to her teaching and professional endeavors.
