Brockett Horne

Brockett Horne is a versatile professional with a background in design, education, and writing. She is recognized for her creative work, which aims to educate and inspire viewers.

With a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and Art History from the Rhode Island School of Design, a Master’s Degree in Decorative Arts, Design History, and Material Culture from Bard Graduate Center, and a BFA in graphic design from Carnegie Mellon University, Brockett Horne has a solid educational foundation.

Throughout her career, Brockett Horne has held various roles in academia and design. She has served as a Lecturer at Boston University, a Faculty Member at Maryland Institute College of Art, and a Co-Director at People's Archive of Graphic Design. Additionally, she has been a Principal at Eye Dear Studio, a Professor at Northeastern University, and the Chair of Graphic Design at Maryland Institute College of Art. She has also held leadership positions such as the Director of the School of Design at Kansas City Art Institute and as a Senior Graphic Designer at The Art Institute of Chicago.

Brockett Horne's work has been showcased in exhibitions and has garnered multiple design awards. Her dedication to education and creativity is evident in her commitment to encouraging viewers to learn through observation. She is a past Rotary International Scholar and her work is part of the permanent collection at the RISD Museum of Art.
