Jennifer Davidson

Jennifer Davidson is a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) with a focus on Computer Science - emphasis in Human Computer Interaction from Oregon State University, as well as B.S. in Computer Science from Humboldt State University. Currently, she works as a Staff User Experience Researcher at Okta, Inc. and has previously worked for major companies such as Mozilla and Intel Corporation in various roles, including as a Support Lecturer, Instructor, Market Research Analyst, and Graduate Technical Intern.
Davidson's passion lies in creating a technology revolution that is inclusive of all. She believes that all users should have a voice, and that it is essential to enable a diversity of voices to be heard to achieve this goal. She achieves this by conducting research studies, including market research studies and user experience research studies, where she gathers feedback from a diversity of people. Her research aims to get the voices of the people heard by leaders in technology companies and product groups.
Davidson has also shared her expertise by serving as an Instructor and Advisor at Bellevue College Continuing Education and as an Instructor at University of Washington Tacoma and the School of Visual Concepts. Davidson's skills include user experience (UX) research, market research, human-computer interaction, information visualization, software design, and teaching.
