Stavros Garzonis

Stavros Garzonis is a seasoned User Experience (UX) practitioner and educator, with over 18 years of expertise in UX design, research, and teaching. He holds a PhD and an MSc in Human-Computer Interaction and Human Communication and Computing from the University of Bath, as well as a BSc in Mathematics from the Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon. Throughout his career, Stavros has worked with a wide range of prestigious international brands, including Marriott, AXA, Facebook, Tesco, Hertz, giffgaff, and Experian, among others.

Stavros is very active in the UX community and has been involved in several leadership roles in UXPA (User Experience Professionals Association), including President of UXPA UK and Co-chair of UXPA 2014 International Conference. Currently, he is a Senior User Researcher at the UK Home Office, where he is responsible for delivering cost-effective services that simplify citizens' interactions with government. In addition, in his free time, Stavros advises start-ups as a UX Google Expert.
