Jeff Wetzler

Jeff Wetzler is an accomplished professional with a deep expertise in the education industry. He holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D), Adult Learning and Leadership from Columbia University in the City of New York, and an M.A. in Adult Learning and Leadership from the Teachers College of Columbia University. Wetzler also has a BS, Honors, Psychology from Brown University.

Wetzler is the co-founder of Transcend Education, an innovative education organization that seeks to transform the way students learn. Prior to that, he served as the EVP, Strategy, Innovation, and Organizational Development at Teach For America, where he worked to improve the organization's impact on students. He has also held roles as a board member at Rocketship Education and Uncommon Schools - New York / Brooklyn, and as an advisory team member at Opportunity Culture / Public Impact.

Wetzler's expertise in the education industry is further highlighted by his association with organizations such as New Classrooms, Edthena, National Academy of Advanced Teacher Education (NAATE), and Blue Engine. He was an Aspen Global Leadership Fellow with the Pahara Institute at the Aspen Institute - Pahara.
