Jeff Gennette is a seasoned retail executive with extensive experience in the industry, currently holding the prestigious position of Chairman & CEO of Macy's, Inc., overseeing Macy's, Bloomingdale's, and Bluemercury.

With a career that started in 1983 as an executive trainee at Macy's West in San Francisco, Jeff has steadily progressed through various merchandising and management roles, showcasing his exceptional leadership and strategic acumen.

Apart from his professional commitments, Jeff actively contributes to various organizations, including serving on the Partnership For New York City Board & Executive Committee and holding significant roles in the NRF Foundation Board of Directors, NRF Finance Committee, CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion Task Force, and the Governing Committee for Racial Equity.

A Stanford University graduate, Jeff Gennette's roots trace back to San Diego, now calling Brooklyn home with his family.
