Jeannette Frey is the Director of the Bibliothèque Cantonale et Universitaire (BCU) in Lausanne, a position she has held since 2008. Under her leadership, the library has seen significant developments, including the extension of its main building and the implementation of a new Integrated Library System (ILS) for the library network in 2015.13
In addition to her role at BCU Lausanne, Frey serves as the President of the Renouvaud Network of Libraries, which fosters collaboration among libraries in the Vaud region.25 She was also appointed as the 12th President of LIBER (Ligue des Bibliothèques Européennes de Recherche) in 2018, further highlighting her influence in library and information science across Europe.46
