Jeanne Bliss

Assistant Principal - Dean of Faculty at Bishop Ireton High School

Jeanne Bliss is a seasoned education advocate and marketing communications specialist with a passion for educational equity and human well-being. She has an extensive professional background that spans over decades, ranging from her time as a middle school English teacher to her current role as the Assistant Principal of ST. MARK Catholic School.

Throughout her career, Bliss has worked with nonprofit organizations, evaluating programs and developing effective strategies that aim to enhance organizational growth and foster positive change. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in English from The University of Kansas, pursued a Master's in Education in Administration & Supervision at the University of Virginia and a graduate program at George Mason University focused on secondary education.

Bliss has also held various leadership roles in several organizations, including being the Associate Director of the Center for the Advancement of Well-Being and, most recently, the Director of Admissions and Student Services at ST. MARK Catholic School. As the former Director of Marketing and Public Relations at George Mason University's Center for the Advancement of Well-Being, Bliss has earned recognition for her excellent communication and copywriting skills.

In her current position, Bliss balances her administrative duties and her instructional responsibilities as a committed mom and teacher on a daily basis. She speaks to her passion for education and advocates for human well-being throughout her work.
