Jean-Denis Charest is a revenue generation and value creation strategist with a strong background in business strategy, marketing communication, sponsorship, finance, business development, marketing, sales team management, and keen political acumen. He is a creative intrapreneur who excels at fostering innovation, creativity, and driving change within organizations. Jean-Denis has been employed by the Chambre de commerce du Montréal métropolitain since 2008, where he established the sponsorship and partnership division, overseeing its integration with the membership unit. He also manages the events and special projects units, as well as the Chamber's new services development lab, leading a team of 27 individuals and a membership base of over 3000 companies and 8000 individuals. Prior to his role at the Chamber, Jean-Denis worked in the alliance marketing unit at Cossette, handling sponsorships for General Motors in Quebec, including the title sponsorship of the Montreal International Jazz Festival. He also worked on various accounts such as Bell, Yellow Pages, and Canada Post. In the early stages of his career, Jean-Denis conducted management and marketing consulting for Fundatia Inima de Copil in Romania, a foundation aiding children with AIDS. His expertise helped the foundation redefine its positioning, mission, values, and funding strategies amid Romania's entry into the European Union and changes in the foundation's service offerings.
