Jean-Baptiste Morlot

Jean-Baptiste Morlot is a driven individual with a deep passion for sciences, particularly in modeling the complexity of nature. His academic journey began with a focus on theoretical Physics, culminating in a Master 2 in particle Physics.

Seeking more innovative approaches, Jean-Baptiste ventured into the revolutionary field of machine learning, recognizing its potential to provide solutions for understanding complex systems. This led him to pursue a Ph.D. in machine learning with a focus on biological systems, aiming to advance the understanding of this extensively researched domain.

In 2018, Jean-Baptiste Morlot graduated from the University Pierre Marie Curie. Following his academic accomplishments, he co-founded DeepLife alongside Jonathan Baptista while serving as the Chief Technical Officer. DeepLife focuses on developing artificial intelligence algorithms using multi-omics sequencing data to model cells and enhance their engineering capabilities.

Throughout his academic and professional journey, Jean-Baptiste Morlot engaged in various roles and internships, including positions at Entrepreneur First, Sorbonne Universités, L'École Normale Supérieure de Lyon, Laboratoire d'Annecy-le-Vieux de Physique Théorique, and laboratoire de physique nucléaire d'Orsay, showcasing his diverse experiences and expertise in different scientific environments.
