He founded, built, and eventually sold Personnel Policy Service, Inc., a specialized publishing business focusing on employment law compliance.

Jay is well-versed in developing and maintaining a comprehensive 800-page manual of model human resources policies, with annotations for management insights and legal references.

His expertise includes handling complex employment laws like ADA, FMLA, and FLSA, offering simplified explanations to various professionals on challenging issues.

He has engaged with a wide range of subscribers from small businesses to industry giants like Monsanto and Cisco.

Jay gained extensive knowledge in publishing, editing, and proofreading through his active participation in industry programs and serving on the Board of Directors at the Specialized Publishing Industry Association (SIPA).

After selling his publishing assets, he took a break for travel and local volunteer work but realized his passion for writing and publishing, now dedicated to helping others enhance their writing skills.
