Jaswant Kaur

Jaswant Kaur is a seasoned professional in the development sector, bringing a wealth of experience in NGO management, corporate sector, communication, and project designing.

With a strong background in legal compliances, Jaswant's expertise has greatly benefited the NGO sector, where she also serves as an Executive Committee Member of VANI – a prominent body of voluntary development organizations.

An accomplished writer, Jaswant has contributed articles to prestigious publications like The Tribune, The New Indian Express, Indian Currents, and the New Leader, with her work even featured in the renowned Malayala Manorama Yearbook.

Her exceptional writing skills have been recognized with the 'Journalism with Principles' award from the Indian Catholic Association during its 25th National Convention.

Recognized for her legal acumen, Jaswant has been chosen as faculty for the Citizen Journalism Course by Deepalaya in partnership with the McCandlish Philips Institute at Kings College, New York, USA. She was also a finalist for the Martha Farrell Award in 2020.

Jaswant's educational journey includes a Post Graduate Diploma in Child Rights Law from the National Law School of India University, a Certificate course in POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, and a Master of Arts degree from Panjab University, among other qualifications.

She has also been involved with various organizations in leadership roles such as Vice President at Pilani Atmanirbhar Resource Centre (PARC), Executive Committee Member and former Executive Director at Deepalaya, and former Company Secretary at NSML and Rahul Sales Limited.
