Jason Nassar

Jason Nassar is a seasoned "Product CEO" specializing in Edge and Internet-Of-Things (IoT) hardware and software products with a rich professional background spanning over 16 years in product leadership, people management, design, and program management.

He has been recognized for his contributions in the industry, being awarded the Best Paper at Power Gen Asia 2018 for his work on Advanced Hybrid Solutions in the Distributed Energy Track. Jason holds three U.S. patents in high voltage batteries, charging systems, and gas turbine damage protection.

Among his notable achievements is leading the technology and design of the world's most capable mobile electric power plant, with over 290 units sold. His leadership roles have involved managing 20+ direct employees and over 70 indirectly across various leadership and management positions.

Jason Nassar brings a wealth of experience from his tenure as an Engineering Product Leader (EPL) at General Electric (GE) Power, where he worked on top GE products, and as an OEM Design engineer for General Motors' (GM) hybrid electric vehicle, the Chevrolet Volt.

His educational background is diverse, ranging from a Journeyman technician certification to a Master of Engineering degree, with a focus on Energy Systems Engineering and Electrical Engineering, both attained at the University of Michigan.

Throughout his career, Jason has held key positions at renowned organizations such as Dell Technologies as a Senior Consultant in Edge Product Management, Hewlett Packard Enterprise as an IoT Senior Product Manager for Moonshot and Edgeline, and GE Power in roles such as Senior Product Line Manager, Engineering Product Leader, and Controls Engineer.

In addition to his professional achievements, Jason Nassar served honorably for five years in the United States Marine Corps and completed the Leadership Development Course at GE, as well as earning the qualification of a Six Sigma Green Belt by GE.
