Jason Ingle is an individual with a diverse background as a founder, operator, investor, board leader, and philanthropist, dedicated to revolutionizing the food system for the betterment of people and the planet.
In 2012, Jason co-founded Closed Loop Capital, an early-stage venture capital platform focusing on agriculture technology and food system innovation in the US and Canada. Through this platform, he has invested in technology-driven companies like Mercaris, MycoTechnology, Concentric, and Beyond Meat.
Jason is also a founding investor and board director at Desert Bloom Food Ventures, an investment fund supporting healthy food and restaurant brands. Some of their investments include Clover Food Lab, Gotham Greens, Madecasse, EveryTable, and Hungry Harvest.
Additionally, Jason co-founded Greener Partners in 2008, a not-for-profit organization promoting healthy food and education through farms and gardens. This organization impacts over 10,000 children annually and offers unique programs for doctors-in-training.
In the realm of strategic philanthropy, Jason chairs the board of Equal Measure, a significant organization supporting strategy development and impact evaluation for prominent foundations and nonprofits in the US.
Boasting strong board governance and leadership skills, Jason spearheaded the establishment of a family governance system for a 115-year-old family business. He also serves on the board of the Ford Fund, the philanthropic arm of Ford Motor.
