Jason Hammersla

Jason Hammersla is the Vice President of Communications for the American Benefits Council.1 In this role, he is responsible for:

Jason has been with the American Benefits Council since 1999, when he joined as a public relations associate. Over the years, he has held various roles within the communications department before reaching his current position.1
Regarding his educational background, Jason earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Rochester. During his time there, he served as editor-in-chief of the Campus Times student newspaper.1
Interestingly, Jason has some unique accomplishments outside of his professional role. He has co-written a song for Norah Jones and written jokes for Steve Martin.1
In his current position, Jason is responsible for communicating with the Council's 7,300+ members from over 420 member companies. He also acts as a liaison to national and local media on employee benefits issues.2
