Jason Guo, a software engineer with a passion for innovation, studied at the esteemed University of Waterloo, earning a Bachelor of Software Engineering degree. Throughout his academic career, Jason honed his skills in software engineering, excelling in front-end development, application development, and research. He also cofounded a hackathon, FraserHacks 2019, and served as the lead organizer.
Jason's career began as a research assistant at the University of Waterloo, where he developed expertise in various areas such as machine learning, optimization, and data science. His research focused on developing efficient algorithms for optimization problems. Later, he worked as a React developer at SparkPath, where he developed, tested, and maintained codes for web applications, ensuring they are user-friendly, responsive, and scalable. Afterward, he joined Lazer Technologies as a Full Stack Engineer, where he developed web and mobile applications for various clients.
Currently, Jason works as a software engineer at Salesforce, where he troubleshoots and maintains enterprise-level software applications. He works collaboratively with other software engineers and stakeholders to develop and deliver efficient solutions that meet business requirements. Jason's passion for software engineering and innovation has made him a valuable member of any team he joins.
