Jason Child

Jason Child is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Senior Vice President at Splunk Inc., a leading data platform company. He was appointed to this position on May 6, 2019, succeeding Dave Conte. Child has over 25 years of experience in finance, particularly in high-growth technology companies. Before joining Splunk, he served as CFO at Opendoor, Jawbone, and Groupon, where he played a significant role in the company's initial public offering in 2011, one of the largest tech IPOs at the time.123

In September 2022, it was announced that Child would be leaving Splunk to take a position at a pre-IPO semiconductor company, marking the end of his tenure at Splunk.4
