Jason Abboud

Jason Abboud is a dedicated Geoscientist with a keen interest in finding interdisciplinary solutions to water-related issues.

Having worked at BGC Engineering, Jason has honed his technical and soft skills through various projects in engineering and hydrogeology, specifically within the realms of mining and pipelines.

Jason has pursued higher education at the University of Calgary, completing a Master of Science in Geology (Hydrogeology) and Bachelor of Science degrees in Geology, Biology, and Nanoscience.

His professional journey includes roles such as Sustainability Consultant at AFARA, Geoscientist at BGC Engineering Inc., and various internships and research positions at organisations like Deltares, Shell, Golder Associates, and the University of Calgary.

Additionally, Jason has contributed to different capacities in organizations like TEDxYYC, Signature Seismic Processing Inc., University of Calgary, Minds in Motion, and Foothills Medical Centre.
