Ben Stern

Ben Stern, a highly accomplished recent graduate from Swarthmore College, brings a wealth of experience to his current role as Political and Field Director for Mary Gay Scanlon's congressional campaign. As an Honors graduate with a degree in Political Science, Economics and Peace Conflict Studies, Ben has leveraged his knowledge to work on numerous political campaigns in Delaware County Council and even for her opponent, Monica Taylor. Additionally, he has been involved in the field of government affairs while working as a Fellow at J Street.

Ben's expertise extends beyond the political field. He is also a documentary filmmaker who produced a film about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which is currently showcased in film festivals worldwide. Before his journey into politics, he worked as a biology writer at the Swarthmore Journal of Science and as an economics research assistant in the UC Berkeley. His passion for research and love for creating content is also demonstrated in his documentary-making work. Ben has developed his skillset in various fields and has tackled every opportunity with ardor.
