Jasmin McClendon

Jasmin McClendon is a dedicated youth advocate and a proud recipient of the Counselors That Change Lives Award. With a focus on empowering young adults, she strives to promote self-development, equity, and facilitate the alignment of opportunities with career aspirations.

Jasmin pursued a Master's degree in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services at City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College. Complementing that, she also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Advertising from Howard University.

In her professional journey, Jasmin McClendon has held significant roles such as the Director of College Counseling at CollegeBound Initiative. She has also contributed to The College of Westchester as a Presenter for High School & Community Relations. Additionally, she served as a High School Territory Manager at TCI College of Technology and a High School Programs Representative at DeVry University.

Jasmin's early career included valuable experiences at Fox 5 News, where she worked as a News Assistant and a News Trainee. She also gained insights into the field of advertising as an Assistant Account Executive at Saatchi & Saatchi.
