Jared Workman is a computational astrophysicist with extensive experience in scientific programming, data analysis, and team management. With degrees from the University of Colorado Boulder and Temple University, he has spent 17 years utilizing high-performance computing platforms to run, reduce, and analyze simulations of astrophysical phenomena. Workman is an author of over a dozen publications in highly ranked journals, and his primary areas of research include hydrodynamics, magnetohydrodynamics, plasma physics, and radiative transfer. Besides, he has expertise in handling large data sets and optimizing scientific software for various environments. Workman's professional background includes HPC engineering and management at Rescale, tenure as an associate professor of physics at Colorado Mesa University, and post-doctoral research at the University of Rochester. He's also worked as a research and teaching assistant and an adjunct professor at Temple University.
