Janet Alder is a British campaigner and former commando of the Royal Army Medical Corps. Throughout her career, she has fought for justice and equality for people of color, specifically with regards to police brutality and discrimination by the police force. Janet has been a strong advocate for her brother Christopher Alder, who died in police custody in England in 1998. Janet believes that Christopher was the victim of racism and police brutality, and she has dedicated much of her life to seeking justice and raising awareness about police accountability.

In addition to her activism work, Janet is a published author and has spoken publicly about her experiences and views on various topics. She has also been recognized for her efforts as an anti-racism campaigner, receiving the Institute of Race Relations "Special Award" in 2001 and the Liberty Human Rights "Close to Home" Award in 2006.
