Jana Hennig

Jana Henning is the Chief Merchandising Officer at Marine Layer, a position she has held since June 2023.1 She has an extensive background in the retail industry, particularly in merchandising and product development. Prior to her current role, Henning worked at Athleta for over a decade, where she held several high-level positions including Chief Product Officer and VP Omni Merchandising.1 She also has experience working at Gap Inc and Old Navy in senior merchandising roles.1

Henning received her Bachelor's degree in Art History & English Literature from Tufts University, graduating in 2000.12 She is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and is described as an experienced retail specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the apparel and fashion industry.2
