Jamie Johnston

Jamie Johnston is the Research and Evaluation Director at the Stanford Center for Health Education. Her primary focus is on leveraging technology to enhance educational access and improve health education, particularly in under-resourced areas. Johnston holds an impressive academic background, including a PhD in Economics of Education from the Stanford Graduate School of Education, which she completed in 2017 as an Institute of Education Sciences (IES) doctoral fellow. Additionally, she has a Bachelor of Science in Social Policy from Northwestern University, a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago, and a Master of Arts in Economics from Stanford University.124

Before her current role, Johnston completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Stanford School of Medicine and has been involved in various research initiatives that aim to identify effective methods for improving health professions education through digital technologies.
