James Snyder

James Snyder is a seasoned professional with a background in law, finance, and investor relations.

As a Partner at HKW, his primary focus is on leading the firm's Investor Relations Team, engaging with investors, co-investment funding sources, and lending institutions across North America.

Before his tenure at HKW, James held prominent roles including Vice President and General Counsel at Browning Investments, Director of Finance and General Counsel for the city of Indianapolis mayor, and Chief of Staff for the Indiana State Treasurer.

He is a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington, where he earned his Doctor of Law (JD) degree, and Wabash College, where he completed his BS in Political Science.

James is based in Carmel, IN, where he resides with his wife Maryann and their children.

Outside of work, James enjoys traveling to support college sports events with his family.
