James Pepin, MSc, is a highly experienced professional in coaching, athlete development, recreational programming, event management, and student-athlete experience.
With a strong background in Microsoft Word, Coaching, Fitness programming, Skill Development, Motor Development, Sales, Communication, and Event Management, James excels in a variety of professional skills.
He holds 2 Master's degrees in Coaching and Sport Education ('18) and Sport Management ('19) from West Virginia University where he has been coaching the WVU Hockey ACHA D1 team since '17 and previously worked with the WVU Baseball NCAA D1 team from '18 to '19.
James also completed his BKin degree in 2016 from Brock University where he played Varsity Baseball in '11 and '12 and worked with the Varsity Men's Hockey Team from '14 to '16.
During his career, James has held various roles including Fitness Director at NTC - National Training Centres, Baseball Instructor at Toronto Blue Jays, Intern Strength Coach at Beyond the Next Level (BTNL), and Assistant Coach in player development for the WVU Hockey ACHA Men's D1 Team at West Virginia University.
His extensive experience also includes positions such as Graduate Teaching Assistant, Hockey Instructor at Can Am Hockey Schools Intl, Central Equipment Room Student Supervisor, Smart Start Assistant, Counsellor and Instructor at Golden Horseshoe Hockey School, and Umpire at Niagara District Umpire Association.
