James Minor

James Minor is an accomplished music industry professional with a diverse background in festival management, band management, venue management, and booking/promotions. He is currently the Head of Music Festival at SXSW, one of the biggest and most influential music festivals in the world. Prior to his current role, he served as the Music Festival GM and Music Festival Booker at SXSW. Before joining the festival, he worked as a band manager for Voxtrot and venue manager for Rothko, as well as in various roles at Emo's, RVNG Intl., and 33 Degrees. James studied Radio-TV-Film and Journalism at both the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
