He has a unique ability to bring together heads of state, iconic CEOs, influential business and church authors, and thought leaders on the topic of servant leadership, positioning him as a catalytic voice in the global servant leadership movement.1
Dr. Davis holds impressive academic credentials, including a Master of Divinity and Doctorate of Organizational Leadership from Evangel University in Missouri. He has also completed Executive Education programs at Harvard Business School and the John F. Kennedy School of Government. Currently, he resides in Palm Beach, Florida, with his wife Starla. Under Dr. Davis's leadership, LDI partners with pastors, business leaders, and educational institutions to equip them for successful leadership. The organization provides principles to improve work culture, guide leaders through transitions, assist with fundraising, and create enduring structures in a changing world. LDI's impact has been significant, raising over $127 million for non-profit organizations and empowering more than 400,000 servant leaders.1
Dr. Davis and LDI are committed to promoting servant leadership, a concept rooted in biblical teachings but often misunderstood in modern culture. They aim to change the perception that "servant" and "leader" have opposing meanings. LDI's philosophy is that true organizational success is built from the ground up, not from the top down. Their approach involves placing the needs of others first to help individuals and organizations develop and perform at their peak.1
In various environments, including business, church, and politics, Dr. Davis and LDI work to develop leaders who lead by serving, care about their employees beyond just financial outcomes, and understand the importance of leading with integrity.1
