His career reached its pinnacle when he founded Aquifer Capital, his own investment firm, and introduced the Aquifer Funds, a series of private investment funds designed to commercialize highly successful investment strategies.

Transitioning his focus to the realm of theological higher education, James now holds prominent roles as a senior executive and professor at Midwestern Seminary and Spurgeon College, aiming to revolutionize theological education and mentor the upcoming generation of ministers and business leaders.
