Leslie Umstattd

Leslie Umstattd is a versatile educator with a background spanning various levels of education from elementary to higher education.

With experience in both traditional classroom settings and online teaching at the Masters level, Leslie has honed her skills in course development and delivery.

Currently serving as the Director of Digital Learning at Park University, Leslie is involved in designing online courses and actively participates in conferences as both a presenter and attendee.

Adept at training faculty on enhancing student engagement through innovative teaching methods like problem-based learning, Leslie's passion for effective teaching led her to complete the ACUE Effective Teaching Practices training.

Leslie's educational journey includes a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling and Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from The University of Alabama, and a Doctorate of Educational Ministries in Education from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Prior to her current role, Leslie held positions such as Interim Director of Digital Learning at Park University and a teaching role at Grace Prep.
