James Genone is a seasoned academic professional with a robust background in philosophy, holding a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Arts (M.A.) from Boston College, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of California, Berkeley.
Currently, James holds the role of Managing Director of Higher Education Innovation at Minerva Project, where he leads academic strategy, program design, curriculum development, and pedagogy for higher education partnerships, focusing on creating impactful educational experiences for students.
In addition to his current position, James has held various key roles in academia, including Professor of Social Sciences, Associate Dean of Academic Programs, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies, and Director of Curriculum Development at Minerva Schools at KGI.
James Genone has a strong instructional background, having served as an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Rutgers University - Camden, Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Franklin & Marshall College, and as a Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow at Stanford University.
