James Dudley

James Dudley is a highly educated individual with a diverse academic background and professional experience in various fields.

James holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Mechatronics from Stanford University, where he also completed his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and another Bachelor's degree in Archaeology focusing on Remote Sensing/Geophysics.

He furthered his education by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Finance, Renewable, and Sustainable Energy from the University of Colorado Boulder.

In addition to his engineering and business qualifications, James also pursued Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) certification in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician from Colorado Mountain College and completed his High School education at Durango High School.

Throughout his career, James has held significant roles in various organizations, including serving as the Managing Director at Kava Equity Partners, an Investment Advisory Board Member at Buff Gold Ventures, the VP Direct Investments at Caruso Ventures, and as a Principal at Boulder Ventures.

His professional journey also includes positions such as an Investment Professional at Ridgeline Ventures, Managing Director at Deming Center Venture Fund, Sr. Mechatronics Design Engineer and roles in Business Development & Marketing at Acroname Inc., as well as Engineering Manager/R&D Engineer at AktiVax Inc.

James has showcased his versatility by working as a Ski Instructor in Alpine and Telemark skiing at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, and bringing his engineering expertise to companies like Square One Systems Design where he worked as a Mechanical Engineer and Tesla Motors where he contributed as a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in Powertrain Engineering.

His passion for the brewing industry led him to work as a Brewer at Snake River Brewing. Throughout his career, James has demonstrated a wide array of skills and knowledge across engineering, finance, entrepreneurship, medical technology, and the outdoor sports industry.
