Jacquelyn Revere

Jacquelyn Revere, a passionate storyteller, was born and raised in Inglewood, CA, where she discovered her love for theatre at a young age, which eventually led her to study Shakespeare at Oxford University.

She holds a Bachelor's and Master's in Fine Arts, specializing in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts, General from The New School for Drama, with additional studies in Creative Writing at UCLA Extension and Marketing/Theatre at Hampton University.

Jacquelyn's career path led her to become an ambassador for the American Institute for Stuttering (AIS), where she connected with stutterers on three continents, organized improv courses, and built a significant online presence through her YouTube channel, JacquelynJoyce, focusing on visibility and advocacy for the stuttering community.

A notable achievement includes having her videos referenced in USA Today in January 2020. She has since written, produced, and directed a web series, been a finalist in multiple television-writing competitions, and had her short film screened at The Apollo Theatre in Harlem, NY, alongside the Sundance-winning film 'Clemency'.

Her professional experiences include roles as a Content Producer at Manhattan Neighborhood Network, Media Content Creator at JacquelynJoyce, Professional Actor at USA Network, Writer's Assistant at Viacom, and various acting positions at theaters like Columbia Stages, The Workshop Theatre Company, Manhattan Rep, and The Flea Theatre.
