Jacob Prince is a recent graduate from Yale University ('19) currently engaged in postgraduate research in the Department of Psychology at Carnegie Mellon University, working on the applications of deep learning and computational neuroimaging in the study of human sensation and perception.
His primary research interests revolve around understanding how information regarding the sensory environment is represented in the visual cortex. Jacob employs functional MRI, neural network modeling, and behavioral experiments to explore and interpret these representations under the mentorship of Dr. Michael Tarr, the department chair in Psychology.
